The hiking public have always been encouraged to enjoy Baskloof and the surrounds with both daily and annual permits being available from Mickeys Mousetrap (at the Camel Rock Restaurant). Day permits are R12 per adult and the Annual permit is R50. This nominal fee contributes to the substantial management, on-going alien clearing and rates costs. Groups should not be more than 12 persons and there are a few requirements such as: please to stay on the designated paths, dogs on leashes, no picking of flowers. Thanks to those that have supported us in this endeavour over the last 15 years.
We do not allow horse riding or mountain-bike riding.
